Chihera in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwean social media has been awash with images of a woman character, spirit, or concept called Chihera. In the cumulative tradition of the Shona (a Zimbabwean ethnic group), Chihera is a fiercely independent, assertive, free spirited, and no nonsense woman.
