International Trade Policy

The main contention of this book, first published in 1978, is that international trade policy must fit the economic structure of the trading countries. The first two chapters, which compare the nineteenth and twentieth century movements towards freer trade, provide the two main themes of the book: policy and the sort of industries on which the policies work.
