Marxist Theory of Ideology

This work offers an account and definition of the concept of ideology in Marxist thought, together with its role within historical materialism, demonstrating that while there is no coherent, single account of ideology in Marx’s work, the interpretation given by Gramsci of historical materialism is consistent and compatible that of Marx.
