Politics of Writing

An examination of writing as a social practice. The authors draw on critical linguistics, cultural and literacy studies to explore and analyse: the social context, processes, practices and purposes of writing. The reader-writer relationship and issues of writer identity, as well as current notions of correctness, are also explored.
