Saint Delilah

In this feminist supernatural suspense novel, she will find her peace - and give hell to the man who killed her. When Delilah wakes, all she remembers is the pain and the anger. She knows she isn't alive anymore. She knows someone hurt her. She can't remember who. Frightening creatures stalk Delilah in the space between life and death, eager to feed upon her suffering until her soul is reduced to a poltergeist. She can't pass on until the balance has been restored - a life for a life: the death of her killer. There is one person Delilah trusts to find her murderer and keep the darkness at bay: Magda. And when a stranger comes to town seeking Magda's spirit-medium help, too, Delilah notices something different about him. He can see her. He can feel her, love her, make her feel alive again before she's really gone. The three come together to solve Delilah's murder, but as the creatures close in, time runs out. There will be one night, Halloween, when the veil will drop and Delilah may walk among the living for the last time. Delilah may be damned, but she's not going down alone. Those who ve harmed her are going, too.
